The assault caused the partial shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park.

Two more people have been arrested in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been released.

Police arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault near the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals injured by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
